Privacy

What we keep

• Your email address and a scrambled copy of your password (we never see or store the password itself).
• Your manager name, team name, and the optional profile bits you add: country, favourite club, avatar and bio.
• Your squads, transfers, chips, points and the leagues, lobbies and events you join.
• Messages you post in matchroom chats.
• Which emails you want from us.

Why we keep it

• To run the game: save your team, score it each gameweek and show you in league tables.
• To sign you in and keep your account safe.
• To send the emails you asked for, like deadline reminders, plus the ones an account needs, like confirming your address or resetting a password.
• To keep chats friendly and stop cheating, which can mean an admin looking at an account.

Who sees it

• Other managers see your manager name, team name, points and, if your profile is public, its details. You can hide your profile in Settings.
• Your email address is never shown to other managers.
• We use a few services to run Rosterr: a host for the site and database, and an email provider to send mail. They only get what they need to do that job.
• We don't sell your data or show you ads based on it.

Cookies

• One cookie keeps you signed in. Another remembers a league invite you opened before signing in, for up to a week.
• We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

• As long as you have an account. Delete it in Settings and your account goes, along with your teams, profile and chat messages.
• Backups may hold a copy for a short while longer before they're overwritten.

Your rights

• You can see, fix or delete most of your data yourself in Settings.
• For anything else, like a copy of everything we hold about you, email us and we'll answer within a month.
• If you think we've handled your data badly you can complain to your country's data protection authority (in Denmark, Datatilsynet).
