Rules

How the season game and events work.

Your squad

  • Pick 15 players with a 100m budget: 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, 3 forwards.
  • No more than 3 players from any one club.
  • Player prices are set before the season and shown on every player.

Lineup and captain

  • Start 11 each gameweek: 1 goalkeeper and at least 3 defenders, 2 midfielders, 1 forward. The other four sit on the bench.
  • Your captain scores double. If the captain doesn't play, the vice-captain scores double instead.
  • A starter who plays no minutes is swapped for the first bench player who did play, as long as the lineup stays legal.
  • Squads lock at each gameweek's deadline, shown on the home page.

Transfers

  • Before your first deadline you can change your squad as much as you like.
  • After that you get 1 free transfer a gameweek. An unused one carries over, up to 2.
  • Each transfer beyond your free ones costs 4 points.

Chips

  • Wildcard: Every transfer this gameweek is free, and the new squad stays. You get one for each half of the season.
  • Free Hit: Every transfer this gameweek is free, and your squad goes back to how it was for the next one.
  • Bench Boost: All 15 players score this gameweek, bench included. There are no auto-subs, since nobody needs replacing.
  • Triple Captain: Your captain scores three times their points instead of double. If the captain doesn't play, the vice gets the triple.
  • Play one chip a gameweek at most. Wildcard and Free Hit are played from Transfers, Bench Boost and Triple Captain from Pick team.
  • Bench Boost and Triple Captain can be cancelled until the deadline. A Wildcard or Free Hit can't be, once confirmed.
  • Free transfers you have saved up are kept when you play a Wildcard or Free Hit.

Events

  • Events are short tournaments over a few gameweeks. Pick a fresh 11 for each with 80m, up to 2 per club.
  • Give some players role cards for bonus points, and pick a captain who scores double.
  • Each event has its own ranking, and the season ranking adds up event results.

Points per action are on the scoring page.
